Spectrum Alpaca Farm of Greenville PA

Clothing and garments made from alpaca fibers are extremely soft and relatively weightless. Some people compare the softness of alpaca wool to cashmere. Humans perceive a lower micron count as softness. Microns are the diameter of a fiber measured in one-thousandth of a millimeter, which is very tiny. Some types of alpaca wool can have a micron count as low as eighteen.
