Mission
The Networking Group of the Shenango Valley (TNG) is an organization of persons dedicated to the ideals of improving their business potential through interchange of social and professional contacts and referrals.
Vision
Our vision is to grow TNG until every business category in the Shenango Valley is represented. A business category is defined by the products and services offered by member businesses.

Each business category or professional occupation category is represented by at most one member.

TNG has six elected officers from TNG members that make up TNG Executive Board Officers. The elected officers consist of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Membership Chair, Treasurer, and Sergent-at-arms.
The responsibilities of elected officers are enumerated in TNG By-laws. -
The four Committee Chairpersons are appointed by the President. There is the Social Chairperson, the Program Chairpersion who announces speakers of the weekly meetings Spotlight Talk, Hospitality/Business Card Holder Chairperson who always has a physical copy of the TNG By-Laws for distribution at meetings, and the Publicity Chairperson who always offers the TNG By-Laws through TNG store on Valley Marketplace.
The responsibilities of Committee Chairpersons are enumerated in TNG By-laws. -
There is a $125.00 yearly membership fee. Members pay their own meal fee and gratuity.

Meetings
Meetings are confirmed via electronic communication the day prior. Please confirm your attendance.
TNG holds two regular weekly meetings of 1 hour and 15 minuets in duration. One meeting in the morning and one meeting in the evening.
On Tuesday and starting at 7:30am, the morning meeting is held at Hatian Sensation Coffee located in beautiful downtown Sharon PA. On Wednesday and starting at 5:15pm, the evening meeting is held in the boardroom at the eCenter@LindenPointe located in Hermitage PA.
Each member should attend at least one of these meetings each week meeting are held. No meeting will be held on the week immediately following New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.Spotlight talks
One member each week, as coordinated by the Program Chairpersion, will deliver a Spotlight Talk. The member will have 20-30 minutes after the individual commercials to speak about their profession at length.
Order of Meetings
Meetings proceed with the following order. Meetings begin with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer over the meeting. The TNG Purpose statement is read. Any guest and/or visitor is acknowleged and given the opportunity to introduce themselves and speak about their profession. Each committee chairperson reports on their committee’s activities. Each member will provide a brief 45 second commercial for their business. One member delivers a spotlight talk. Upon conclusion of the members talk, the speaker for the following week is announced. The meeting is adjourned.

A referral is outlined as a contract between two TNG members or when one TNG member generates a contact between another member and a non-member which could potentially lead to a business transaction.

TNG has a Facebook page and a Facebook group page. All members are encouraced to post under our Code of Conduct for Social Media.
