Our firearm training courses mimic real life situations in order to fully prepare you for what to expect and how to protect yourself from the bad guy. We use a Use of Force Video Simulator with proprietary scenarios that has shocking results.
Our location
TSP firearm education and firearm training is provided at Altra Firearms whose address is 750 South Hazzard Rd, Jackson Center, PA 16133 which is conveniently located in Mercer County Pennsylvania just 5 miles from the Grove City exit off I-80. Our training is convenient to students from Hermitage PA, Pittsburgh PA, Cleveland OH, and Columbus OH as well as residents from Trumbull County OH and Mahoning County OH.

We use a Use of Force Video Simulator with proprietary scenarios that produce shocking results.
This course helps you understand how you may react during a Deadly Force encounter.

Handgun Cleaning Course

We walk the student through the disassembly and reassembly of their pistol.

Bare Bones Concealed Carry Tactics

Course conducted indoors on our cutting-edge Virtual Range.
We are able to practice the technical aspects of using a Concealed Carry Firearm without shooting a single bullet.
Our system provides the shooter with instant feedback on how the shooter controlled the pistol while squeezing the trigger.
Receive professional instruction on everything from stance, fit of gun, holster, holster placement, drawing from concealment, drawing from purse, and accuracy.

Defensive Handgun Legal Seminar

First half of our 8-hour Level 1 Basic CCW / Defensive Handgun Course.
Legal seminar to learn the laws regarding the Use of Force and the "Castle Doctrine".
Safe gun handling and the fundamentals of shooting.
This course is a prerequisite for our Level 1 Part 2 course.

Level 1 Part 2 CCW
Defensive Handgun Shooting Course
(4 hours)
Second half of our 8-hour Level 1 Basic CCW / Defensive Handgun Course.
Certificate issued upon completion of this course.
Satisfies CCW Firearms Training as prescribed by multiple states.
Starts by continuing with the basic fundamentals learned in Level 1 Part 1.
Beginning with Airsoft guns in the warmer weather or Lasers in inclement weather.
Finishes with the same basic fundamentals taught in Part 1, but using live fire drills.
